We have an important update on the compounded, generic Versions of Mounjaro and Zepbound, Tirzepatide:

The generic version of Mounjaro and Zepbound also called Tirzepatide, which are currently being allowed by the FDA to be compounded by some compounding pharmacies, will be taken off the list of drugs in short supply as of December 2024. They will become unavailable for purchase by the general public.

What will change: Only the brand names of these drugs will be available! And, these drugs are expensive if not covered by insurance.
